Améliorer l’éducation

Opportunity and development in Benin shouldn’t be monopolized by corrupt political elites. By tackling the issues that matter most to Beninese, we can help everyone thrive and work together to create a stronger, more democratic Benin – a country defined by growth and progress for all of us. Here is the beginning of our policy platform for a Democratic Benin. |
The youth are our future. Investing in education promotes equitable economic growth and creates new opportunities for our young people to earn a living wage and contribute to the economic and social growth of our country.
Beninese women far too often are victims of discrimination and abuse. Women are critical to the development of Benin and their contribution is far greater than the traditional gender roles that have held them back for generations.
Infrastructure is key to sustained growth and job creation in Benin. Transportation and IT infrastructure are the backbone of a new, inclusive economy.
We are an enterprising people. We need to make owning and operating a business as easy as starting one. Professional development, certifications and trainings will help our people start and grow stable businesses and incomes.
Universal access to quality health care, without discrimination, is a human right. Right now, the government spends just 3.3% of the GDP on services relating to healthcare in Benin. We can and must to better.
Low-productivity agriculture has led to little output growth and unacceptable levels of deforestation. We must shift the balance toward high-yield, regenerative farming practices that feed our people and our land.
Our schools and communities must have proper sanitation facilities. Too many of us still lack access to running water and soap to wash our hands. Many more don’t have access to safe, clean drinking water. This is unacceptable.
